Chad Silva

(Chad seems surprisingly reluctant to talk about himself. We're still working on him, because his story is pretty amazing. Please encourage him to tell us how he became a Prodigal Son.)

It took three attempts to get ten answers from Chad, but we finally got there, and we are happy to share what we learned with you.

1. What were your best/worst subjects in school?

My best subject was PE, but I loved history. My worst would be English most likely.

2. What is your favorite movie? 

Jeremiah Johnson. If you have to ask why, you haven't seen the movie.

3. If you could be a super hero, what would be your one super power?

How about moving back and forth through time and space?

4. What's your favorite holiday?

Thanksgiving. There's so much to be thankful for, and it all starts at home, with the ones we love.

5. What's your favorite place to eat?

The Crow's Nest in Santa Cruz.

6. What is the best advice you've been given? 

Listen and think before you speak. (I'm still working on that one.)

7. What's the last book you read? 

Sacrament of the Present Moment.

8. What is the best gift you've ever received? 

Forgiveness!

9. What is one thing you wish you'd known when you were younger?

To buy Apple stock.

10. What was the question you were hoping I'd ask?

"Where's my favorite camping spot?"
