Chad and Frank have known each other since their school days. Steve played with Chad in a worship band more than 35 years ago, but by the time Joe joined that band 35 years ago, Steve had already moved on. John and Joe played music together at another church starting about 30 years ago. Then six years ago Frank suggested to Joe and Chad that they form a group and give it a try. Prodigal Sons was born. Chad found Steve after loosing track of each other for a couple decades and invited him to join. John had played with Chad, Frank and Joe prior to Prodigal Sons, and he got the nod about 2 years ago.
